August 22 Heart Link
heartlink logo£775 was raised for Heart Link, a children's charity based at Glenfield hospital. Heartlink was formed in 1981, originally as a support group for parents and families who had a child suffering from a heart defect. Families then, as now, wanted to meet and talk to others in a similar situation. Over the years the charity has also become committed to improving facilities for young patients, their families and providing much needed valuable medical equipment.
